Are you planning to pop the question? Do you have a romantic side bursting to express itself? Then help is at hand. We can guide you to the perfect ring to make her dreams come true!
Here are some of the most common things we are asked.
Q. I don't know what she will like!
Don't worry; we have years of experience in designing diamond rings. We will talk through with you, your partners particular likes and dislikes. The shape of diamond she would prefer. The colour gold she would like. We will help you choose a design to suit her.
Q. Will I be able to afford a ring in your shop?
The simple answer is yes. Our most popular engagement ring is £1750.00 and the option of 12 months interest free credit makes buying even easier. Of course we can make rings for less or more so don't be afraid to tell us your budget and we will do everything to accommodate you.
Q. Will it fit?
Our rings are a stock size M. If you are not sure of her size (most of you won't have a clue) take it as now and bring it back with your fiancé so we can measure her finger. It's not a problem to adjust the ring and we can do it in a couple of hours.
Q. Is there any after care?
We offer a FREE FOR LIFE cleaning service on all our diamond rings. Consider having a special message engraved inside, also FREE.
Q. I've seen a ring on the internet; shouldn't I just buy one from there?
The internet is a wonderful source of information and resource. But would you spend several thousand pounds on something you hadn't seen? It is impossible, even for a skilled gemmologist, to see a diamond on screen and be sure it has the fire and brilliance that make a diamond special.

Q. Your budget
Don't worry; we have years of experience in designing diamond rings. We can work within any budget, and we know how costly a wedding can be, so to help we can offer 0% finance to help spread the cost over 12 months. Remember, you are not just buying a piece of jewellery, but investing in a permanent reminder of your happy day which you will wear for evermore.
Q. Ladies
You have a fabulous engagement ring so you need an equally fabulous wedding ring. We pride ourselves on our ability to compliment your engagement ring with one of our wedding rings no matter how elaborate, even if shaped or multi diamond set.
Q. Gentlemen
You may not be used to wearing jewellery, let alone a wedding ring. Fear not, we have an extensive choice of plain bands to suit. For the more adventurous we have engraved rings with a modern twist or consider having a diamond set, diamonds aren't just for the ladies.
Q. Just that bit extra
Have you thought of personalising the inside of the rings with your names or nicknames? Or maybe your wedding date or a secret message. We can engrave whatever you wish all free of charge.
Q. Aftercare
We offer a free for life cleaning service which means you can pop your rings in any time and have them professionally cleaned and checked.

March Guard Insurance
Wongs Jewellers Insurance
Having your jewellery correctly insured is very important. At Wongs Jewellers we offer a simple insurance policy exclusively on newly purchased items. Branded as March Guard it gives you, the customer, peace of mind in the knowledge your jewellery is fully insured.
What is March Guard?
- March Guard is quite simply an EXCLUSIVE INSTANT cover to ensure your newly purchased precious jewellery is insured before you leave the shop.
- March Guard will replace your items on a LIKE FOR LIKE basis from Wongs Jewellers.
- It is straight forward, it lasts for 1- 3 years and is supported by our own insurers, jewellery industry experts T H March.
What does March Guard offer?
- A simple certificate with minimum exclusions.
- Cover anywhere in the UK plus up to 30 consecutive days elsewhere.
- All items are insured against physical loss or damage including theft and accidental loss.
- Claims Settlement exclusively by repair or replacement via Wongs Jewellers (N.B. there is no Cash settlement option).
- Wongs Jewellers are available to assist you during our opening hours Monday – Saturday 9.30 am – 5.00 pm.
- Maximum any one item of jewellery £5,000 reducing to £1,500 for any one watch.*
- Maximum jewellery which can be insured per household £10,000.*
- No excess applied to losses (typical Home insurance has a minimum £50 excess).
What else do you need to know about March Guard?
- All repairs and replacements must be via Wongs Jewellers.
- Reasonable care must be exercised in keeping the items safe and in good condition.
- Unless otherwise agreed the insurance shall be subject to English Law.
- The insurance has a 14 day cooling off period after issue during which it can be cancelled and a full return of premium made provided no claims have been made.
- Cancellations after the 14 day cooling off period will attract a pro-rata return premium subject to no claims having been paid under the certificate.
- A full specimen certificate wording is available on request.
March Guard is not renewable so please make a note to contact the Personal Insurances Department at T H March on 01822 855555 and quote Wongs Jewellers prior to the expiry of your policy to discuss your options.
