SERVICES

The love and devotion that go into sourcing, selecting and hand crafting the world’s most beautiful things. Based in Liverpool city centre, only Wongs Jewellers has an instore workshop led and inspired by an expert jewellery maker with over 50 years’ experience in his craft.
Brian Wong’s half century of experience in lovingly hand-crafting the most beautiful jewellery is unrivalled.
This unique hands-on experience and attention to detail also enable Brian and his team to select only the finest finished jewellery for Wongs customers. While the wealth of knowledge within the four walls of Wongs’ unique in-store workshop also rubs off on all our staff.
You’ll probably be surprised to meet customer service staff here who really know their stuff, for example when it comes to the colour, cut, clarity and carat weight of a diamond (the famous 4Cs!)
And perhaps you might be even more surprised to take a peek through the picture window at the rear of the store to see Brian and his team at work. Here, state-of-the-art technology, such as laser welding and Matrix CAD-CAM software, enables us to create virtual jewellery in 3D, allowing customers to see their design from every angle.

Our expert jewellers can also harness cutting edge laser technology to fuse precious metals, remodelling your old or broken jewellery into something beautiful and contemporary that your loved ones will cherish for a lifetime.
The Kimberley Process, introduced in 2003 is now law in all EU countries and in around 40 other countries worldwide and is working to regulate the flow of rough diamonds and to exclude conflict diamonds from the supply chain. ‘Rough’ is the term used to describe diamonds as they come out of the ground before they have been cut and polished. This global system is backed by governments, the UN and various NGOs. It effectively manages and certifies the international trade in ‘rough’ diamonds.

The Kimberley Process is supported by a code of conduct introduced by the World Diamond Council which requires traders in cut and polished diamonds to warrant that the diamonds have come from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict. At Wongs, we deal only with reputable suppliers who we know and trust, non of whom deal with conflict diamonds. All of our diamonds are purchased from legitimate sources, that are not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations Resolutions.
