Creating Family Heirlooms for Future Generations - A Bespoke Story

Carole’s story began with a collection of deeply sentimental rings, each belonging to a beloved family member - two grandmothers, both parents, and even a special ring of her own. Wanting to preserve this rich family history, Carole chose to have all the pieces remodelled into two new rings, creating lasting heirlooms for her son and grandson. It was a heartfelt decision to keep the memory of her loved ones alive for generations to come.

The Design Journey

The journey with Wongs was personal from start to finish. Carole worked with our bespoke team to handcraft two unique rings. We melted down the gold from her original family pieces, carefully setting the diamonds and handcrafting every detail of the new designs. Each ring was patterned by hand, adding a unique texture and finish, and was engraved with the touching words "Forever Loved" - a permanent reminder of the family’s story and the loved ones who inspired the rings.

The Big Reveal

Seeing the completed rings for the first time was an emotional moment for Carole. These were more than just pieces of jewellery - they were precious heirlooms, made to be worn by her son and grandson for many years to come. The connection to her family’s past, now carried forward into the future, made the experience incredibly special.
