Two Wedding Rings, Perfectly Connected - A Bespoke Story

At Wongs Jewellers, we love helping couples create wedding rings that feel deeply personal and completely their own. For Emma and Robin, their bespoke journey was about celebrating individuality while creating two rings that felt beautifully connected, just like them.

Why Bespoke?

Emma’s engagement ring had a unique shape, which meant finding a wedding ring to sit comfortably alongside it was not straightforward. Rather than compromising on fit or design, Emma and Robin decided to explore creating something entirely new. At the same time, they knew they wanted rings in different metals. Robin had always pictured himself wearing yellow gold, while Emma preferred white gold.

The challenge was finding a way to make the two rings feel connected, despite being different in colour and design. Bespoke was the perfect solution.

"We wanted to have rings that were connected in some way, whilst being different colours."

Why Wongs?

Emma already knew Wongs was the right place to go. A few years earlier, her mum had trusted us with redesigning her engagement ring, and the experience left a lasting impression. Supporting a local, independent Liverpool jeweller was also incredibly important to Emma.

"You did such a beautiful job I knew that I wanted to come to Wongs for our wedding rings. Plus, I am a proud scouser and really wanted to support a local, independent business."

A Thoughtful Connection

Working with the Wongs team (shoutout to Charlie) - Emma and Robin created two wedding rings that feel naturally linked. Subtle touches of white and yellow gold were woven into each design, creating a quiet connection between the two pieces. Emma’s ring was designed to incorporate her engagement and wedding ring in one harmonious design. Robins ring is traditional in profile but also incorporates the two-tone effect, with a satin finish for extra luxury.

The result is a pair of wedding rings that feel completely individual, yet undeniably belong together.

The Design Journey

From the very first appointment, the process felt exciting, supportive and full of care. Emma and Robin worked closely with Charlie and the wider team, who helped guide their ideas and bring their vision to life. Behind the scenes, the goldsmiths crafted each ring with incredible skill and attention to detail.

"It was so fun and supportive. Charlie and the team made us feel so special."

The Big Reveal

Seeing the finished rings for the first time was an emotional moment for both Emma and Robin. The designs exceeded their expectations and perfectly reflected who they are as a couple. Friends and family immediately commented on how personal the rings felt.

"It was better than we could ever have dreamed. Everyone who has looked at the jewellery has said how very ‘us’ the rings are.
