For James, the decision to create a bespoke piece was inspired by his family tradition. He inherited a treasured piece of jewellery and wanted to transform it into something new - an engagement ring to propose to his partner, Charlotte. By redesigning an inherited ring, James found a meaningful way to honour his family's legacy while beginning a beautiful new chapter of his own.

The Design Journey

James worked closely with Jenny from the Wongs bespoke team to bring his vision to life. Together, they designed a stunning engagement ring using five old cut diamonds from the original family piece. To help James visualise his idea, our team created a digital CAD design before the ring was crafted, giving him complete confidence in his choice. The process was easy and straightforward - just as James hoped it would be.

The Big Reveal

When James saw the final piece, he was genuinely thrilled. What began as a simple concept turned into a beautifully bespoke engagement ring - a perfect symbol of family history and a new beginning. After James’s proposal, he and Charlotte later visited Wongs to have the engagement ring size checked and to receive their bridal box, specially designed to help them with their upcoming wedding planning.
