Helen’s Emerald Anniversary Ring - A Bespoke Story
At Wongs Jewellers, we’re privileged to help celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. In this edition of our Bespoke Stories series, Helen celebrates 20 years of marriage with husband Mark, with a stunning emerald ring - made even more special by the role her family played in its creation.
"A ring for our 20th anniversary, with a personal touch from all three of us."
Helen’s inspiration for her bespoke piece came from a milestone moment - her 20th wedding anniversary with Mark. Wanting something unique, she incorporated emeralds, the traditional stone for twentieth anniversaries.
“It has emeralds in as emerald is the traditional stone for 20 year anniversary. During the design process we were able to choose the emeralds and there were three so I chose one, my husband another and the final stone picked out by our 14 year old son. So the ring is even more personal.”

The Design Journey
Helen was looked after by Shauna, who brought her vision to life with care and creativity. From sketching ideas with a green highlighter to matching the font of her wedding band for the anniversary engraving, every detail was handled with thoughtfulness.
“Amazing! Shauna listened to my idea and then made it come to life! Even finding a green highlighter pen to add to the design to make it easier to visualise. She was helpful but not pushy. It has my anniversary date engraved inside like my wedding band has in the same font matched by the design team.”
The Big Reveal
When Helen saw the finished ring, it was an emotional moment - and one filled with pride. Her son loved trying to spot “his” emerald, and Helen was able to show off the ring to family and friends during her birthday weekend. Now, it’s a piece she treasures and wears often.
“Emotional! My son liked trying to spot whose emerald was whose! It was my birthday weekend when I collected so I was able to show it off to my friends and family. I wear it lots and love people’s reactions.”
