A Santorini Proposal to Remember

In this Love Story, Ryan swept his partner Devon off her feet with a surprise baby moon in Santorini, leading to an unforgettable proposal at sunset - complete with roses, lights, and their favourite song playing in the background.

Every love story starts somewhere - and for this couple, it began with a simple message on Instagram, how very modern! There was clearly a connection from the start.

The Proposal

Ryan pulled out all the stops when it came to planning the perfect proposal. He surprised Devon with a trip to Santorini for their baby moon - only revealing the destination at the airport. From a beautiful clifftop dinner to a secret rooftop filled with roses and music, every moment felt like a scene from a movie. Nervous but excited, Ryan got down on one knee as the sun set, surrounded by the most romantic set up imaginable.

“When I opened my eyes, it was like something off a movie. He had prepared the most beautiful set up with gorgeous red roses everywhere and a beautiful red rose heart. In the middle the words ‘will you marry me’ in lights. He had organised a professional videographer and photographer to capture the whole moment and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!”

The Ring

When it comes to engagement rings, this one couldn’t be more perfect. A classic emerald cut diamond cluster with endless sparkle, it was love at first sight.

“My ring is absolutely stunning! A gorgeous sparkly emerald cut diamond ring and I just can’t stop staring at it ❤”

Devon & Ryan came into Wongs to check the ring size and receive a Bridal Box which made the experience even more special. The staff were so helpful and as I’m pregnant they reassured me that I could come and get my ring re-sized when I’m ready once I’ve lost the baby weight.”

Wedding Planning

For now, wedding planning is still a little way off as the couple prepare to welcome their baby and settle into their new home. But excitement is already building for the big day in the years to come.

“Definitely started looking about but we won’t be getting married for 2-3 years yet! House & settling the baby first. I can’t wait to start planning I’m so excited.”
