We Won Independent Retailer of the Year at the Professional Jeweller Awards 2025

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Wongs Jewellers has been named the winner of the Independent Retailer category at the Professional Jeweller Awards 2025. The glittering ceremony took place on Monday 7 October at The Royal Lancaster London, where 200 professionals from across the UK jewellery industry gathered to celebrate the very best in British jewellery retail.

Representing Wongs on the night were Peter and Fran Wong, who both had a fabulous evening celebrating alongside so many talented individuals and respected businesses from across the trade.

This award is particularly special to us, as it recognises the achievements of independently owned jewellers who have shown innovation, resilience, and creativity in an ever-evolving retail landscape. The category, sponsored by the Jewellery Show and presented by director Lennox Addo, honours retailers who have embraced digital trends and demonstrated exceptional online innovation to strengthen their business.

We’re honoured to have been recognised among such an inspiring group of finalists, including Baker Brothers, Hatton Jewels, Jacobs the Jeweller, Jeremy France Jewellers, Jody Cory Goldsmiths, Lily Arkwright, Minar Jewellers, Never Ending Chain, Pure Jewels, and The Jones Family Jewellers. Congratulations to every business nominated and to all of this year’s winners across the 17 categories - the evening was a true celebration of the passion and craftsmanship that define our industry.

This isn’t the first time that we have received this award, and to win again is a humbling reminder of how far we’ve come since then. Over the years, we’ve continued to evolve - from refining our bespoke jewellery experience and expanding our digital presence, to preparing for the exciting opening of our new Manchester store later this year. Each milestone represents our ongoing commitment to improvement, creativity, and excellence.
