With the perfect ring tucked away the whole time, it was a birthday surprise Emily never saw coming and one she'll never forget.

From School Sweethearts to Forever

Daniel and Emily's story began at school, where they first met before getting together at just 17 years old. Nearly eleven years later, after building a life together and sharing a home for four years, they were ready for the next chapter.

Although Emily knew an engagement would happen one day, she never expected it to happen during their dream holiday to Florida.

"We met when we were both at school and have been together for almost 11 years now."

The Proposal

After two unforgettable weeks filled with rollercoasters, sunshine and magical moments in Orlando, Daniel chose the final evening of the holiday to propose. Better still, it happened on Emily's birthday, making an already special day even more memorable.

Daniel had somehow managed to keep the engagement ring hidden for the entire trip without Emily suspecting a thing. Looking back, she still can't believe he'd been carrying it around for two weeks. While Daniel looked calm on the outside, his smartwatch told a different story, recording a heart rate of 164 beats per minute as he got down on one knee.

Looking Ahead

Wedding planning is already well underway, with Daniel and Emily dreaming of saying "I do" beneath the sunshine in Crete, Greece. They know one thing for certain though. Before the big day, they'll be returning to Wongs to choose their wedding rings and, for many years to come, they'll be dropping in to keep Emily's engagement ring sparkling with its complimentary lifetime cleans.

"We'll be back to Wongs to purchase our wedding rings and for our lifetimes of cleans!"
